Andrea Farioli, MD, Assistant Professor of Occupational Medicine at the University of Bologna, Italy, passed away suddenly on 16 April, 2020, at age 38, leaving an irreparable loss among friends and colleagues. He was a highly skilled and sensitive doctor, with wide experience, prestigious publications and a broad network of international collaborations, despite his young age. His commitment during the COVID-19 emergency was ceaseless, mirroring his community spirit and complete dedication to medicine.
